Policies
Groombuggy’s mission is to provide a safe and convenient luxury mobile grooming experience for your pup. As part of the pack, you can help us run smoothly and provide the best service. Please familiarize yourself with our policies to make the grooming experience paw-some!
The Basics
Before booking your appointment with Groombuggy, please review our policies that are in place to ensure a pleasant experience for you and your pup.
Cancellations
Life happens! Please extend your groomer the courtesy of canceling or rescheduling your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
Pet Behavior and Safety
We take the safety and well-being of groomers and pets seriously. We want your pet to have a positive experience and we understand that not all dogs adapt quickly and positively to grooming. Please don’t hold back about any behavioral issues such as biting. Read more…
Vaccinations
To ensure the safety of all of our canine clients, all dogs must be fully vaccinated for DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo) and Rabies vaccines + boosters at least 48 hours prior to your pet’s appointment.
Pet Parent Rules
A mobile grooming service is different from a grooming salon. To give your pup the best possible experience, we respectfully ask that you adhere to our pet parent rules.
Shhh… No Peeking! Our Privacy Policy
The Groombuggy mobile grooming experience is strictly one-on-one. Please give the van some space! Don’t knock or communicate with the groomer and keep other pets and children inside to give your pet an uninterrupted “spaw day.”
Hand-Off and Pick-Up
The hand-off and pick-up process is part of the experience. Here’s what you can do to make everything go smoothly: someone over the age of 16 must be present before, during, and after the grooming appointment. Communicate, give your pup and your groomer some space, and pick up on time.

Service Refusal/Halted Service
We hate to refuse service but sometimes it happens. Not all dogs are a good fit for one-on-one mobile grooming services, and sometimes it’s necessary to halt service mid-groom. Service refusal or termination fees apply if your groomer refuses or halts service due to aggressive behavior, pests, or health concerns.

New Client Onboarding
Welcome to Groombuggy! Tails are waggin’ — we’re so happy to have you as part of the pack! Here’s what you can expect from your first Groombuggy experience.
First Groom Experience (Adult Dogs)
During your pup’s first groom experience, your groomer will take extra care to ensure a happy and stress-free experience.
First Groom Experience (Puppies)
A puppy’s first groom experience lays the foundation. Your groomer will acclimate your puppy with a simple bath and brush, and focus on creating a fun, pleasurable atmosphere.
New Client Pre-Groom Consultation
Your groomer will conduct a pre-groom consultation/onboarding with new clients. This is the time for open communication about services, any behavioral or physical concerns, and special considerations.
The Waitlist
Our groomers strictly adhere to our safety policies to ensure a top-notch mobile grooming experience for all of our furry friends. Please avoid booking a service until the following conditions are completely resolved: fleas and other pests, skunked dogs, and dogs in heat, pregnancy, or nursing.
Heat, Pregnancy, and Nursing
We love puppies as much as anyone, but we also take the health of their moms very seriously. Strict rules apply to in-heat, pregnant, and nursing dogs. Read more…
Pee-Yew! Skunked Dogs
If your dog has been skunked, please reschedule your appointment until your pup smells like a pup 🙂
Zero Tolerance Pest and Flea Policy
No bugs allowed!
Special Considerations
We love that all dogs are different! Some pups’ grooming needs are more involved so please keep these special considerations in mind when booking with us.
